Oregon author publishes the book “The Eve Chronicles” A fictionalized memoir about a strong woman who moves to Oregon during the early eighties to work as a timber cruiser doing timber inventory for the Forest Service in the Wallowa Mountains. Living in her tent, Eve, a midwest refugee, brings her feminist, hippie values to a camp of mostly men who tease her relentlessly until she earns her nickname “Queen of the Comeback”
