Low Vitamin D is part of why people get Multiple Sclerosis

https://www.verywellhealth.com/vitamin-d-and-multiple-sclerosis-2440633?utm_campaign=list_ms&utm_medium=email&utm_source=cn_nl&utm_content=17344920&utm_term= When I found out I had Multiple Sclerosis I had very low Vitamin D and with the getting Mono when I was 15, those were triggers, also I had chronic stress which I think was part of the cocktail that triggered MS. No one knows for sure what causes MS and so far there isn’t a cure.

I have the Progressive kind of Ms and I have the heat sensitivity, the fatigue and my right leg drag from partial paralysis. But I am lucky since I retired 11 years ago at age 53, my MS hasn’t progressed. It’s all about the immune system that was damaging the nerves in my brain causing scars, which interrupted the nerve that serves my right leg.
I think staying active help keep it at bay, I ride my incumbent bike, 45 minutes twice a day, i swear it keeps my MS from progressing. I ride my indoor incumbent bike 45 minutes twice a day and Swim laps twice a week and I swear to stay active is helping. Also, 70 percent of people with MS get depression, I’m far from that, I think staying active and resting to fight fatigue is helping me keep the MS from progressing.

Check out MS World site it was started by a woman with MS who lives in Eugene Oregon. And MS Society and the MS Foundation where you can get up to date progress on medications and treatments, and you can post a question on one of their blogs.

Keep active and it’s time to take care of you now.70354-purple_heather_for_prince2b252812529

Want something to read until the elections are over? “The Eve Chronicles” by Diane DeVillers won’t disappoint.

The paperback book “The Eve Chronicles” by Diane DeVillers contains three books. The first one is “From the Waters of Coyote Springs” The book begins when Eve first moves to Oregon to work as a timber cruiser doing forest inventory for the Forest Service in the Wallowa Mountains. A very strong female who soon earns the nickname “Queen of the Comeback” from the men in the crew who constantly tease her. It only makes her stronger. Eve is a counterculture, strong-willed woman who knows her own mind but is still searching for her place in the world.

The second book is “Felix and Eve” about a caregiver who spends the summer with a cranky elderly man who needs a live-in caregiver after having heart bypass surgery. Felix comes to trust her and every night when they play cards, he starts to tell her stories about his life when he worked for the notorious Al Capone at the height of prohibition.

The 3rd book, “The Arrangement” is about Eve a retired baby boomer who owns property on Moon Mountain in the eclectic town of Eugene in the Willamette Valley. Vinnie lives in a yurt at the back of her property and he is in love with Eve but remains silent. Every year Eve gets the same letter with the same skeleton key in it. She goes to spend the summer with a former lover. This special arrangement has worked for 15 years. But when Eve makes a discovery it changes her

poppy-on-firehttp://www.everydayhealth.com/sanjay-gupta/multiple-sclerosis/what-causes-mental-exhaustion-ms/?xid=nl_EverydayHealthLivingWithMultipleSclerosis_20161025 I am beginning to realize when

I am beginning to realize when i start getting MS cognitive exhaustion and know when to lie down and reset my energy level. It’s worse when I get out and about in the community, where too much stimulation causes me to have what I call “Brain farts” and I lose my concentration, I also can cover up by saying I’m having a senior moment
