“Felix and Eve” is about Gold Beach Oregon on the southern coast where Eve lives a summer with Felix, an elderly man recovering from heart by-pass surgery. Felix used to work for the notorious gangster, Al Capone during the days of probation.
Then decades later, when Eve’s a retired baby boomer, she owns property on Moon Mt. where she lives in a beautiful house, making pastel colored pottery. Vinnie lives in a yurt in her backyard. For the past 15 years, she receives a letter with a skeleton key in it. and heads to Catalina Island to visit a former lover who has Multiple Sclerosis.
Vinnie stays behind and caretakes her estate and waters her many flower beds and vegetable garden. Vinnie is in love with Eve but remains silent.
“The Eve Chronicles” contains all three books but is in paperback. These fictionalized memoirs follow my journals but have fictionalized parts.
